frequently asked questions (FAQ)
1. Quotes a price without seeing the job
Some renovators are daring (and lazy) enough to provide quotations for your renovations without ever looking at your plans, drawings or even listen to your requirements. These are signs of incompetent or unprofessional renovators who could end up delivering and over-run cost or in the worst case scenario – abandon the whole project!
At WSL DÉCOR, we listen to you; evaluate your drawings and plans - BEFORE we provide you with quotation estimates. And best thing is we provide FREE evaluation of your plans and drawings that you bring. There are no charges for answering any of your questions or doubts. So, drop by our showroom and our staff will help formulate a suitable brief for your plans.
Our Free evaluation will help you manage your budget, time and expectations. Our staff will assist you in finding the right combination to create your dream home (or office).
2. Unrealistic low estimates
At WSL DÉCOR, we understand that price and budget is one of the main criteria’s for homeowners looking for renovation works. We try to keep our prices low and cheaper than our competitors. But sometimes, we see in the market ridiculously LOW prices.
Many times, our staff has heard a potential client say they can get lower and "better" prices – only to hear from them a few months later about their "nightmare renovator from hell!"
Our tag line is "Cheaper. Better. Nicer." Our "Cheaper" does not mean "lower quality". And our "Better" ensures we do not cut corners to make it cheaper. WSL DÉCOR ensures all our jobs and materials are cheaper without compromising the quality. We source for good quality materials with Reasonable prices; our staffs are very detailed and strictly examine all materials for defects. You only pay for quality products with affordable prices.
Our renovators will work closely with our Interior Designer (or your designer) to ensure all works are done within budget and expectations – providing a "Nicer" finish.
3. Demands large down payments to buy material
Many homeowners are afraid of losing their deposits or down payments. The fear increases some more, when renovators demand large down payments to "Buy Materials". Placing large down payments means higher risks of your "renovator" running away with your hard earned money.
WSL DÉCOR buys basic and common materials in large bulks. This means savings to you -our customer. In addition, we have our sister company, who can supply us of many raw materials that we do not stock in bulk. All discounts and savings that we acquire are passed on to our customers.
We never request for large down payments to "Buy Materials". You only need to place a reasonable "earnest" deposit for us to commence planning.
